How do you add Voiceover Narration to a video?

5/6/2014

Voiceover narration is when you hear the announcer, but you don't see him.  It can be done in two steps.

STEP ONE  - Take your camera into a quiet room.  Hold it in your hand like a microphone with the lens facing straight up.  It should be about a foot below your chin.  Put your script on the table in front of you, press RECORD, and read it.  Be sure not to crinkle the paper as you do this.

You'll be filming a picture of the ceiling, but you'll also record a high-quality vocal track for narration.

STEP TWO -
Put the two clips in your timeline in order.

  • First, your narration.
  • Second, the video that shows the thing that you're talking about.

Then, follow these directions.
